North London-based couple Sarah and Gani envisioned their marriage ceremony day oozing relaxed class. Planned and styled by the bride, their dream day at Virginia Park Lodge in Co. Cavan was the epitome of romantic and easy. Their aesthetic was impressed by an Irish spring backyard in full bloom with the styling that includes an abundance of seasonal blooms and a palette together with gentle pinks and contemporary greens.

The rain stopping simply in time for his or her stunning outside ceremony and the rhododendron within the backyard, that hadn’t bloomed for the previous decade, got here out only for them! The breathtaking bridal fashion was impressed by the understated class of Kate Moss and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy with a Carrie Bradshaw-influenced after-party look. Pretty print bridesmaid clothes, curvy stationery, a flower-filled reception, and a swoon-worthy cake, there may be a lot inspiration to sit up for. With pure and complex imagery by Peter Carvill, let the swooning start.

Sarah is from Belfast and Gani is initially from Albania and we all know you are questioning how the lovebirds met. They met at work on Sarah’s second day dwelling London. “I had been CC’d into a few work emails before joining and Gani already had set his sights on me,” Sarah says. “But it took about 4 months earlier than I agreed to exit with him.”

Sarah displays on their proposal which was as candy as might be, “Gani took me to The Cotswolds (where we had our first holiday together during Covid) and surprised me by rushing me to get ready and out the door for a breakfast; and when I came downstairs there were candles, flowers and champagne with a leatherbound book of all our photos and memories together. He proposed with the most beautiful round diamond in a Georgian loop setting.”

From the second they began planning their special occasion Sarah and Gani knew they needed the celebration to really feel fully genuine to them and so they needed wonderful meals, good music, unimaginable music, and a ceremony that felt deeply private somewhat than conventional for custom’s sake.

Having everybody they beloved collectively in a single place celebrating meant the world to the pair. “It was really important to us that guests didn’t have to travel between different venues throughout the weekend. We wanted somewhere we could host everyone the night before, celebrate together on the wedding day and gather again for breakfast the following morning, with enough accommodation for as many family and friends as possible to stay on site. Having everyone together in one place made the whole weekend feel so relaxed and special.”

Sarah’s marriage ceremony day look struck the proper stability between timeless and up to date. Her elegant silk satin robe was by The Own Studio. “It had soft draping and beautiful movement that felt romantic, ethereal and modern all at once.” She styled it magically with an extended tulle veil and Jimmy Choo heels with crystal straps. “The fabric almost danced with the wind during our outdoor ceremony, which made it feel even more magical.”

They honoured Sarah’s roots by together with a great deal of Irish music throughout the ceremony. “I walked down the aisle to Allistrum’s March, and during our handfasting we had The Lobster, a beautiful piece by Martin Hayes. A few weeks before the wedding, we went to see Martin Hayes perform live because I had always hoped to include his music in our ceremony. It made hearing those pieces on the day even more special. Maria and Anna performed them so beautifully – it was one of my favourite parts of the ceremony.”

Their favorite studying was Having a Coke with You by Frank O’Hara. “On the surface it’s a love poem about sharing an ordinary moment together, but it really celebrates how the person you love makes everyday life more extraordinary than even the greatest works of art. It’s about choosing the simple joy of being with someone you love over anything else in the world.”

What a fairytale method to stroll into married life!

Sarah and Gani fell head over heels in love with Virginia Park Lodge the primary time they visited because of the expectational meals, the breathtaking gardens and the passionate crew who made them really feel so taken care of from the beginning. “There was an unimaginable consideration to element, however nothing ever felt formal or pretentious—it felt heat, welcoming and genuinely particular. We knew immediately it was someplace our household and buddies would love simply as a lot as we did.”

With the grooms occasion donning slick fits from Suitsupply the bridesmaids wore floral print fairly in pink robes from Reformation. Sarah’s nieces Lily and Phoebe stole the present as flower ladies sporting ethereal clothes with frothy tulle skirts and so they carried candy basket bouquets.

They welcomed their family members with signature drinks of spicy margaritas and pints of Guinness. “As a nod to our union, we printed Sláinte and Gëzuar – meaning “cheers” in both Irish and Albanian – onto the foam of the Guinness. We asked guests to place bets on how many margaritas would be consumed (172!) and what time I’d take off my Jimmy Choos (I didn’t!).”

Bringing a touch of retro enjoyable, the stylish and curvy stationery was created by Sarah’s wonderful sister-in-law Clare which made the day really feel tremendous personalised.

The beautiful blooms had been curated by luxurious Longford floral design studio Wild Feather Blooms. The spring preparations included O’Hara roses, ranunculus, calla lilies, anthuriums, and cascading inexperienced amaranthus which created a pure and ample really feel.

“One of our favourite parts of the day were the speeches and how much we laughed,” she displays.

“Make the day as personal to you as a couple as possible,” is their sage marriage ceremony planning recommendation. “Don’t worry too much about trying to please everyone else. The moments people remember most are the ones that genuinely reflect who you are. If you’re relaxed and having the best time, your guests will feed off that energy and enjoy themselves too. The day goes by so quickly, so make decisions that you’ll look back on with a smile, rather than ones you think you’re ‘supposed’ to make.”

Their heart-shaped Lambeth marriage ceremony cake was created by Belfast-based bespoke marriage ceremony cake makers Baked by Corri.

They selected a track they beloved for years for his or her first dance, Childish Gambino’s stunning cowl of Tamia’s I’m So Into You. “It just felt like us—romantic, soulful and understated. It has such a timeless feel, and it was the perfect soundtrack to that moment.”

Sarah needed a very completely different search for the night that was little extra playful and dramatic. “Inspired by Carrie Bradshaw, I changed into a mini dress with a tulle skirt and bodice that was perfect for dancing the night away.”

After the marriage, the newlyweds took a phenomenal journey to Co. Mayo after which Finn Lough the place they soaked up the fantastic thing about nature as they stayed in little bubbles within the forest going for bike rides and even a dip within the lake! “Ireland is an extremely beautiful country and should be explored more. We are planning a big trip later in the year.”

Congratulations Sarah and Gani! Thank you to our fabulous couple and to photographer Peter Carvill for sharing this extremely magical Virginia Park Lodge marriage ceremony with One Fab Day!
